NT Scan: Check!

We had a great appointment with our MFM yesterday. Both babies are healthy, with heartbeats of 159 and 157, having functioning stomachs and kidneys and brains are properly developing. The ultrasound along with the blood work results give us great odds for having healthy babies without down syndrome or Trismoy 18/13.

We are beyond thrilled to have healthy babies and being able to watch them for 40 minutes was so amazing. Baby A is still the active one, while Baby B is bit more relaxed and laid back. We even got a guess on their sex!

They were pretty confident Baby A was a boy. Baby B was tougher, and they aren't quite sure, but also guessed a boy. I've had a feeling since the start that they were two boys. Now we just have to wait and wonder until my anatomy scan at 18 weeks!

  2. Sounds like a fabulous visit! And they're usually spot-on with the guesses. Two boys will be fantastic! You're so tiny, so I'll be curious to see how you wear the baby bump. Are you going to share your success story with the rest of us? I remember you indicated donor eggs as your next step when nothing else waws working, then you were absent for a long time. I also had success with DE. My twins are 3 months now. I always find pride in the stories of others who chose DE to create their family. Hoping to hear about your wonderful tale of joy!!!! So deliriously happy for you!
